Silver Lining

Brushed across a textured silver backdrop are earthen greens and sky blues reminiscent of my childhood in rural New South Wales. Trips to the Murrumbidgee River with family and friends during the school holidays was such a treat at the height of Summer. Inevitably you'd find us floating down the wide river forming a human chain, grabbing willow branch or foot, laughing hysterically. We must hold on to the hope of a brighter tomorrow. There must always be silver linings.
